I am taking .75mg of Wellbutrin 2x per day andtapering off one dose of Xanax every two weeks. I want to know if it is safe for me to also take Tranquilene as a supplement which hasb-vitamins and GABA in the pill. Mysticdoc : Xanax also acts through the gaba receptors. Mysticdoc : Since you are tapering xanax, it may be ok to take tranquilene but the gaba dose should not exceed 200 mg daily for now to avoid excess drowsiness, confusion. Mysticdoc : It is better to taper xanax little bit more slowly like lowering the dose by 10% every 3 weeks if you experience any withdrawal symptoms. Mysticdoc : The tranquilene dose can be increased gradually upto 500 to 1000 mg daily once you are able to wean off xanax completely.
